I LOVE WEDNESDAY. REVIEW TIME AT THE OFFICE-TO MAKE SURE ALL 3 SERMONS ARE A GO. MY BROTHER PAUL COMES FOR A MEXICAN LUNCH-USUALLY A TACO SALAD- HE AND I MAKE A VISIT OR TWO-TALK A WHILE.
WEDNESDAY IS CHURCH NIGHT AND I DO A SERIOUS BIBLE STUDY-TONIGHT GALATIANS 3. I GET EXCITED ABOUT THAT. USUALLY I GET TO SEE MY DAUGHTER AND ONE OF THE GRANDSONS,TOO.

Galatians 3 is what we are studying now on Wed. nights. We study verse by verse, and enjoy learning. Allow me to share part of a study...
Galatians 3

1. O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
Are we wise or foolish? Do we believe the Bible or not?
There is truth and it is found in the Bible alone.
Jesus death was real-some of them may have seen it, but more followed-glory!!!
2. This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Are we saved by works or by faith> Big question. If by works-why did Jesus die?
3. Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Are we so foolish to beleve that we could do anything to impress God. Jesus did the work of our salvation on the cross-glory!!!
Think about these things and have a great one-PASTOR JOE

Sin is real, and things happen, but the big question is-how do we react? Is love our way? Do we care and pray for others? I hope that when bad things happen-our first reaction is-to pray for those invilved, and seek to honor God in all things.
Wrong is wrong, and needs to be dealt with. Forgiveness is possible. Love can happen.
Today, I challenge us to honor the Lord in all things-PASTOR JOE

Galatians 2: 11. But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
Paul was a man led of the Holy Spirit, and Peter was a man who was the church leader, but he had made a mistake. Paul had courage, so he face to face met with Peter. He told him his mistake, and things worked out for the glory of God.
Both men were trying to please the Lord ,but Peter listened to his heart, instead of the Lord.

LAST NIGHT RABBIT, WAYNE AND I VISITED THE NEELYS- TODAY THEY HEAD TO CHARLESTOWN FOR 4 WEEKS OF TREATMENT- THANKS FOR THEIR LOVE GIFTS.

TONIGHT'S TOPIC IS-LET'S TALK-GALATIANS 2!!-...

I declare today as PRAY FOR FAMILIES DAY. I am sure my family needs prayer, and it is my guess that yours does too.
Now let me pray for your family- FATHER AS THIS PERSON READS THIS BLOG, I ASK IN JESUS' NAME FOR A SPECIAL BLESSING UPON THEIR FAMILY TODAY. I AM SO GLAD THAT YOU LOVE AND CARE ABOUT THEIR FAMILY AND I ASK YOU TO GUIDE THEM TODAY AS ONLY YOU CAN. MAY THEY HAVE A GOOD DAY FOR JESUS-YOUR SERVANT PASTOR JOE

Praise the Lord for a good day yesterday. We had 126 in the am service. There was such a wonderful spirit and 2 great solos. Last night we passed a record high budget after a service on Dealing with temptation.
A special happy birthday to Martin who had 20 of his family there yesterday am.

Paul wrote Galatians to help people to deal with false teachings. No doubt much false teachings exist today. So Paul give us some advice:Galatians 2: 4. And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
5. To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
BE VERY CAREFUL WHO YOU LISTEN TO- NOT EVERYONE DESERVES OUR EARS. THE GOSPEL OF JESUS MAKES US FREE-NOT A SLAVE TO RULES-FOR EXAMPLE-IF YOU WEAR PANTS YOU WILL GO TO HELL.... STUDY THE LIFE OF JESUS-READ THE BOOK OF MARK AND ENJOY BEING SAVED. think about it-PASTOR JOE

This morning we were out of coffee-booo!!! So I had to drink something else. Now, I am a 2 cups of coffee in the morning type of guy and then I am awake.
Spiritually speaking I wonder how many times we settle for 2 nd best?
God loves to give us good gifts, but often we take second best-think about it, and have a good day-PASTOR JOE

Over 12 hours without power-boo. I am spoiled-are you? I like power-especially ac and lights.
Many today will have no power spiritually speaking. Do we desire to know the power of God? Do we talk to Him, often? Do we read His book-the Bible? Do we go to His house?
Then, no wonder we have little or no power-think about it-PASTOR JOE

I am blessed in many ways. I have dear and precious friends. Last night the kids put on a musical/drama, and blessed us so. We had over 100 there-wow!!! Afterward a nice supper with many other friends-great, but then I got home, and no ac it was hotter in the house that outside. So I called a good friend a trustee, and hopefully by this evening we shall hace ac. We take so much for granted.

Who was Paul? Galatians 1:15. But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
HE WAS CALLED OF GOD TO DO WHAT HE DID. WHAT IS YOUR CALL?
16. To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
WE ARE TO SHOW OTHERS JESUS BY THE WAY WE LIVE.
ALL OF US PREACH WITH OUR LIVES-WHAT ARE WE PREACHING NOW?
17. Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
PAUL CARED WHAT JESUS THOUGHT MORE THAN WHAT OTHERS THOUGHT.
18. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
PAUL WAS FRIENDLY.
19. But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother. PAUL'S FRIENDS WERE GOOD PEOPLE.
THINK SERIOUSLY ABOUT THESE TEACHINGS- AND STAY COOL-PASTOR JOE

Paul knew who he was. When we study Galatians 1, we quickly realize Paul knew who he was. let's look at that. Gal. 1: 11. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
PAUL KNEW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT.
PAUL KNEW HE WAS PART OF God's FAMILY.
PAUL PREACHED THE GOSPEL-GOOD NEWS.
hE WAS NOT A MAN PLEASER.
12. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
JESUS WAS PAUL'S TEACHER.
13. For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
PAUL TOOK HIS RELIGION VERY SERIOUSLY.
14. And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
PAUL WAS A MAN OF GREAT ZEAL-BUT FOR THE WRONG PURPOSES.
TOMORROW MORE ABOUT PAUL-A MAN WHO KNEW WHO HE WAS. WHO ARE YOU? THINK ABOUT IT-PASTOR JOE

Theron did so well-thank God. Tonight I will share a study of Paul to the Galatians, and seek to answer the old question "Who am I?" Don't miss that.

21. And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.
22. And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the Lord, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,
23. That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:7. HE TREATED PEOPLE RIGHT.
24. Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion. CAN GOD BLESS US? HOW MUCH ARE WE LIKE ABRAM? THINK ABOUT IT PASTOR JOE

Today, i shall try to take a day off. Some may say I am off all of the time-that may be true,but so are you!!!
Today I shall try to be with two buddies working to help my parents out-remodeling part of their house that has rotten boards-sounds like fun.

GALATIANS 1:Galatians 1:1-5 (KJV)
Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) [2] And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia: [3] Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, [4] Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: [5] To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Paul was sent by the Lord on a special assignment-preach the gospel to the non-Jews-tell them how Jesus saves.
Paul was supported by some great people who loved Jesus,too. Paul prayed for them to have grace-blessings they could never deserve, and peace frrom God and Jesus. Peace comes from a relationship with Jesus as savior and Lord-boss of our lives.
Our sins can be forgiven only through faith in Jesus- that is God's will.
Listen- we are here to glorify the Lord-not to boss Him around-get it.
God will be glorified forever-let's start now-PASTOR JOE

JONAH 1:Jonah 1:1-3 (KJV)
Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, [2] Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. [3] But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.
Jonah didn't like what God told him- those evil people deserve hell. Jonah trys to run from God-bad move, and it cost him dearly.
Friend God is God-He knows best-trust Him EVEN IF YOIU DON'T LIKE IT, and have a better life-PASTOR JOE
