Grace
Grace is one of my favorite words- why? I need it so. What is grace? It is something we don't deserve.
I wouldn't have a friend in this world if it wasn't for grace. Isn't it funny we all have much grace for our real friends.
The good news is as bad as we all are-God still gives us grace if we are His. As a christian God has promised HIS grace is enough-GLORY!!!

Faith
All of us have faith in something or someone. Some believe in themselves-boy are they in trouble.
Faith in Jesus Christ is proven to be the faith that works now and later. To be a real christian sure does help, to be a half hearted one the devil loves-boy can he use them.
Never forget that there are levels of faith, and the way you build your faith is found in reading the Bible and doing as it teaches like witnessing.
HOW IS OUR FAITH, AND WHERE IS IT? PASTOR JOE

Easter
I dearly love Easter-why? It strongly reminds me of resurrection. Jesus rose from the dead and promised that all christians shall rise again if we go by way of the grave and go to heaven-glory!!!
The lost shall later rise and go to judgment and then Hell.
The good news if we trust Jesus as our saviour then we don't have to worry about hell-glory!!!
Have a hope Easter gives us.
The next two days I hope to be at the State Evangelism conference in Rock Hill-back Wednesday about lunch time.
Please pray for Melvie Riggins and her family-PASTOR JOE

Death
We don't like to even read the word, but it is a reality.
But, I have some good news we can be ready for it-yes you and I or anyone else. John 3:16 tells us how- FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. WOW!!! WHAT A GOD!! WHAT WE CAN BE READY ARE WE?
WE ARE NOT PROMISED OUR NEXT BREATH-GET READY, BE READY NOW-PASTOR JOE

COMFORT
In a world full of hurt and heartbreak, we need comfort.
Comfort is not found in a bottle or pill, but in a person and our relationship to Him. Jesus and the Holy Spirit are our comfort-try THEM, and you will be blessed.

BLESSED
As I think about one of my favorite words, quickly the word blessed comes to mind, and I am so glad I can say we are all so blessed.
We can never deserve to be so blessed, but because of God's grace we are blessed.
Count your blessing-even for a hour, and it will blow your mind.

Abiding
Thanks for reading this blog. Today, I want to start a new thing-focused thinkong.
Today we shall think together about abiding in Christ. What does it mean to abide? KJV--abide, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain.
Do we desire to be close to the Lord? Are we too busy with minor things? God help us to wake up? Souls are hell bound and we are playing games.
Why do we have the Bible, the church, saved friends- to help us stay close to the Lord.
So let me ask-are we abiding in Christ? think about it-PASTOR JOE

THOUGHTS ON MONDAY
God loves to bless, and He blessed yesterday-all glory to Him. How much God wants us to win like His people did at Jericho. How much God wants us to obey Him-unlike one did at Jericho. Sin hurts-sin hurts-sin causes pain....
God is pro marriage, and is anti divorce, but understands it can happen. God is quick to forgive and bless and use again-glory!!!

Jesus on Divorce
I love preaching through the Bible books-like the Gospel of Mark. One reason I do is you preach on so many different needed subjects-if you have the guts.
Sunday night I will preach on Jesus on Divorce and Marriage. It should be quiet a sermon, and is it needed.
Let's see if anyone shows up AT 6 PM. Pray that God will bless and use it for His glory.

The Day After
I love Sundays-they are great. I love church and those I worship with. We had 104 for worship Sunday, plus there was a special Spirit there. I spoke on Experincing Victory and I only had time to half finish the message, and what a look I got-wow! The special was great also, as was the choir.
I also enjoyed last night as I spoke on Growing Pains-what a message from God's Word. We had 42 there-many out sick. What a great special as Janice sang-thanks you Janice-so well done.
God bless all our sick and grieving.

A Long Day
There are times we all have a long day-busy as a bee. Sometimes we have a great victory as a result. Yesterday I was blessed as Anita spent a long day waiting for a heart cathe, and the ugly bad communication bug showed its head. She was made to go to another hospital and have a 4 pm cathe, and at 4:30 the doctor came out smiling-no blockaches. Flu had weaken her heart some. Now she must get over the flu, and stop smoking.
She is blessed the flu didn't kill her-God is good.
Today, I take Mother to a doctor for a annual check up from her hip operation, and help a church family move-another long day.

UPDATE
Yesterday I left at 5:30 to be with a dear church member as she had a second knee replaced-her name is Pat, and she did so well-glory-thank You Lord.
Yesterday a friend named Charley had a spell-maybe a hear attack, and he will have a cathe sometime today-pray for him and Betty.
It seems there is always something going on, but God is good and He blesses and speaks to us in it all.

THE WORD BLESSES
I need blessings, and I have found that the Word of God blesses me and others in music, in prayers, and in sermon. I am as serious as I can be. I love to be blessed and the Word does it like nothing else. Even last night we gathered around the Word and were blessed and then went home and saw the game and enjoyed it, but the blessing came at church with God's people. I learned that a long time ago.
Pat will have knee replace tomorrow, Anita her daughter needs our prayers as she has trouble breathing well. Our prayer list is so long-God bless them one and all, and us, too-PASTOR JOE

A Day for Study
As I sit here I am preparing myselt for a day of intense study for Sunday. What a blessed thing to do-God help me to honor You and be a blessing for Jesus' sake.
