3 Needed Things
Zeph. 2:1-3
Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; [2] Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord's anger come upon you. [3] Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger.
In today's world 3 things are greatly needed,
It is a shame that they are so rare.
1. Seeking the Lord. Becoming a close friend of God.
2. Living right like The Bible teaches us.
3. Being a meek that is a humble person.
So many are so stuck on themselves.
God help us to be what we need to be for your glory-PASTOR JOE

Listening to God
Habakkuk 2:1-2
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. [2] And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
God does speak, but the question is-do we listen?
Often we try to ignore God.
Sometimes we just try to run away like Jonah.
When and how God speaks we need to listen and respond as we should.

God Is Disappointed
Nahum 2:1-2
He that dasheth in pieces is come up before thy face: keep the munition, watch the way, make thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily. [2] For the Lord hath turned away the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel: for the emptiers have emptied them out, and marred their vine branches.
God cares about what we do, and He is mad at His people for making bad choices.
God cares about what we do.
Don't disappoint God.

THERE IS WRONG
Micah 2:1-2
Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand. [2] And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
WRONG IS REAL. BAD EXISTS. SIN IS.
EVIL IS. AND IT IS A CHOICE.
WE CAN MAKE THAT CHOICE, BUT WE ANSWER TO GOD FOR OUR CHOICES.
NEVER FORGET THAT.

GOD HEARS
Jonah 2:1-2
Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord his God out of the fish's belly, [2] And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the Lord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
Note with me that God hears even Jonah.
He hears us,too.
Jonah had a problem, and prayed.
That's ok, but we can and need to pray all of the time.
Try it.
It worked for Jonah.

Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:
How many sins do we commit? What are our favorites?
But never forget--GOD DOESN'T LIKE SIN.
Their are consequences for our sins, yes they are?

He's Coming
Joel 2:1
Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
The Lord is coming again and soon no doubt. The good news is we can be ready. I f Jesus is our Savior, if we believe on Him-come on Lord, but wait. Many are not ready-Lord help them to know You.
This Sunday's message-4 things I like about Mary, Jesus' Mother.

DEEP STUFF
Hosea 2:1-3
Say ye unto your brethren, Ammi; and to your sisters, Ru-hamah. [2] Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts; [3] Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst.
Hosea is a deep book, but the message is a God who loves His people desires for them to love Him and do Him right.
Deep lesson there.

DO WE HURT GOD'S FEELINGS?
Lament. 2:1
How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!
Sometimes we forget that God has feelings,too. It is a bad thing to hurt God.
We can do that.
God does get mad.
He loves us so much, and He desires the best for us.
Will we allow God to bless us?

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
I see so much anger today. Why are people so mad?
The root of anger is found in selfishness.
I want my way and if I don't get it-look out.
The cure is easy to find.
Surrender to the Lord and let Him have His way.

Satan Answers to God
Job 2:1 (KJV)
Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.
When we say LORD GOD we are saying He is the one in charge.
Job 2 is a very deep passage worthy of many hours of study.
There we learn that even Satan must answer to God.
We don't like what God allows Satan to do,but that is reality.
In the end Job is blessed, but people suffer because of Satan.
That is always true.
Do we really answer to God?
Is He our Lord?
