LET'S HAVE SOME FUN
Can a christian be a fun person? It is sad to note that many christians are no fun, but wait-it may be that the only people who can have fun is a real christian-we can have fun now and forever-think about it!!!!
Tonight about 50 kids will have a blast at church- over 20 games with prizes, plus trunk or treat,too. Yes christians can have fun. ENJOY JESUS-PASTOR JOE

A BEAUTIFUL PERSON
FEW THERE BE THAT ARE A BEAUTIFUL PERSON INSIDE AND OUT. YET OUR CHURCH IS BLESSED WITH MANY THAT WAY. WHY ARE THEY THAT WAY? They want to be, and God helps them to be.

A WONDERFUL DAY
The Lord loves to bless, and He did bless us yesterday. There was such a wonderful spirit there at church. The Word was shared and enjoyed. Last night was the capper. I spoke on BLESSED AGAIN. How God loves to bless and bless and bless, if we will get right with Him. Yes, it pays to be right with God-try it you will like it-PASTOR JOE

WHERE DOES ONE DRAW THE LINE- WHAT SHOULD WE SAY, AND HOW AND WHERE CAN WE SAY IT.
IN A CHURCH GATHERING CAN A PERSON SAY WHAT THE SPIRIT LEADS OR WHAT CONGRESS SAYS THEY CAN. WE LIVE IN DANGEROUS TIMES. SOME FEAR THEY WILL BE CALLED A SINNER-OR WRONG, AND THEY CAN'T STAY IT.

Listen
We all have a very serious problem-selective hearing. Here is something we need to hear-God's Word...Galatians 5:19-21 (GW)
Now, the effects of the corrupt nature are obvious: illicit sex, perversion, promiscuity, [20] idolatry, drug use, hatred, rivalry, jealousy, angry outbursts, selfish ambition, conflict, factions, [21] envy, drunkenness, wild partying, and similar things. I've told you in the past and I'm telling you again that people who do these kinds of things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
GOD CALLS SIN SIN, AND WRONG WRONG, AND SO MANY PLAY WITH SIN. SIN WILL HURT YOU-LISTEN PLEASE-PASTOR JOE

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER
SORRY THIS IS LATE, BUT I HAVE BEEN UNDER THE WEATHER. NOW I AM BETTER-THANK GOD.
As most of you know I love Wed. night service, for me I need it-I greatly miss my buddies-my church members. I also enjoy going to a deeper level of Bible study as we are now doing in Galatians 5. This will be a great study-don't miss it- I may record it for any who desire to study the deeper christian life.

Vacation over
The vacation is over, and I am ready- a day of study, my monthly shot at the doctors, and another trip to the dentist to have a tooth repaired-sounds like fun or at least the studying. I hope you have a great day and week.

Hello from Gatlinburg
It is hard to believe that I am in Gatlinburg Tn. Blogging you-but I am. Even a preacher needs a vacation. Here it is perfect temp now. This place has grown since Louise and I were last here. The room has been nice-the food great-of course, and the cell phone to back home has worked fine.
I am glad to report that Debra did fine with her operation-that Pat for being there.
Behave and I shall return home tomorrow night, and enjoy a few more days of r and r-PASTOR JOE

PRAISE THE LORD!!!
Yesterday my buddy Dan was well on the road to recovery-in a regular room,eating, and normal for him.
I was thrilled to see my friend of 40 years doing so well. Adoctor checked him while I was there, and said Wednesday he may go home-WOW!!!
I have some other great news I will hold until tomorrow until everything is finalized.
Now off to the office I head and a time to study Galatians for Wed. Bible Study.
God bless Debra Toney as the time nears for her procedure.

OLD TIMERS A BLAST

Dan doing well
So glad to say-my buddy Dan is doing well. The operation went well, and he appears to be on the road to recovery. He will be in the hospital 5-7 days, and have hopefully a speady recovery.
Continue to pray for Debra Toney-hope to get an update on her later this am.
Will today try to take some time off and help on Mother and Dad's house if the rain allows such.

My Friends
Today please pray for 2 of my friends-my old buddy Dan Wardlaw as he has a kidney removed-it has a mass-9:30 is when he is to be operated on. Debra Toney also sees a surgeon today about a serious operation-please remember her,too-PASTOR JOE

OFF TO THE DENTIST AGAIN
I can't believe it, but I am off to the dentist again this am. He filled a tooth, and checked my ulcer-it is better. In 3 weeks I will go back for a filling-O BOY!!!
This could be worse. I am grateful for a good dentist.
Today I see one of my favorite people my uncle Hub from Maryland-he has such a nice wife Nancy. Tonight, I am excited about Bible study from Galatians.

Wonderful
I had a wonderful weekend-pray you did. Enjoyed a play at Flat Rock Playhouse with my wife- had 104 for worship SM and a wonderful spirit- blessed SN with some very good singing- and I ate good with some dear friends-can't beat that.
I ask you today to remember this week 3 -Dan-who has operation Thurs.-Aunt Wick who broke her hip and had operation Yesterday-Debra who sees a Dr. Thurs.
