A TIME TO LISTEN
YES, THERE IS A TIME TO LISTEN. WE ENJOY TALKING, BUT THERE IS A TIME TO LISTEN.Job 33:1. "But please, Job, hear my speech, and listen to all my words.
2. Now, I open my mouth; my tongue speaks in my mouth.
3. My words come from my upright heart; my lips utter pure knowledge.
WHAT DO WE KNOW? WHAT DOES OUR WORDS REVEAL ABOUT US?
SOME WE NEED TO LISTEN TO, AND SOME WE DON'T. DO WE LISTEN TO THE BIBLE? WE BETTER. ONE DAY WE WILL WISH WE HAD LISTENED BETTER. LOVE THE WORD- SOAK IT IN, AND ALLOW GOD TO EDUCATE US. THINK ABOUT THIS-PASTOR JOE

STUDY-ME?
2 TIMOTHY 2: 15. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Let's look at this verse today. Study- me? Yes we need so to study the right things-like the Bible. Why? 1.To be approved by God. You mean to say if I don't study God will not like that. Yes that is what this verse teaches. Not reading-studying.
2. Are we ashamed how little we know about the Bible?
3. How good is our understanding of the Bible? We are without excuse- go study the Bible- daily, often- PASTOR JOE YES YOU....

In the Bible it was not a badge of honor to have a sun tan, yet to many today it is the thing.
Do we dwell on the minors and forget the really important things- like God, church, prayer, loving, sharing....

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME
After a needed day of worship- with great music-some preaching by me of the Word, and great fellowship with some great people at church and after- thank You Lord for Sundays.
Today, I carry Dad to VA Doctor, and try to study some later.
Need your prayers this week I have 2 big things I need to do to help my parents-both hard, but needed.

Miracle needed
Life is a series of pop tests-AMEN... Today I had with help from 2 brothers to move my dad into assisted living at a nursing home- It went better than I feared-thanks for your prayers. Next I must get the keys for the van- that is a serious need for his saftey and others- pray as that comes.

Hello
I have had a wonderful 3 days of great Bible study on 1,2,3 John at Anderson-wow!
I am still dealing with helping Mother and Dad- need your prayers there-please.
Saw many preacher friends this week- old friends are great friends. Gave out @ 20 cards and hopefully some have read this blog.
The biggie from my studies on John this week is- let us love one another. Isn't it sad that the very thing that should come naturally, doesn't come for so many. The Devil is alive and well, and many are not saved at all.
Do you know Jesus as your Saviour? Listen with eternal ears at John 3: 16. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Believe on Jesus NOW.

OFF TO SCHOOL
OFF TO SCHOOL AT 62. SERIOUSLY-TES. At Anderson University this week our convention has a 3 day school on 1,2,3 John. I have been going to these schools there for 25 years. One whould think I would be smarter.
I am excited about the meetings. But today I meet with my parents and a lawyer, please pray for that situation.

WHICH PATH ARE WE ON?
We are all on some path. Which path are we on?
Psalms 1:1. Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Some are on the wrong path. Which path are we on? We can be on the right path- we find it in the Bible. Look for it.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?
Many things Jesus said and taught, we might find ourselves saying,"Are you serious?"
Like- Matt. 5: 4. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Do we care about others? Do we hurt for them? Do we cry with them? One day it will be our time. Do we want others to care about us?
The secret is out- to be comforted, we must comfort. We all would rather comfort. but just wait- one day we will need comforting?
Think about it- PASTOR JOE

Are we Ready?

ANOTHER BIG DAY
Yesterday, I witnessed a great miracle of God as I dealt with my parents. Today at 10 we have a meeting to seek a better placement for them-my Dad is so restless- please pray for us all.

GOD BLESS AMERICA
We need the Lord to bless us all. I am so proud to be an american. We are a blessed nation, and many don't know it. Many take it for granted. For us to stay great we must have the blessings of God. Let us seek Him, learn about Him in the Bible, and enjoy Him daily.

The Start of a new week
Here we go-go with God. Yesterday we had a wonderful day of worship-praise the Lord.
Many need special prayer of course.
Devotional thought- Ephesians 6: 23. Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I pray for God to give us all 2 things this week:
1. Peace- in our souls-knowing we are saved.
2. Love with faith- wow! it doesn't get any better than that.
Hope you know what love is. Hope you know what faith in Jesus is.

MY PARENTS ARE AT COUNTRYSIDE- DID WELL IN THE PLACEMENT- A MAJOR MIRACLE AFTER THEIR FIRST REACTION- GOD IS GOOD- I GIVE HIM THE GLORY. TODAY I WILL HELP THEM GET THINGS THEY NEED, AND VISIT A PRECIOUS CHURCH MEBER WHO HAS CANCER-PLUS ENJOY SUPPER WITH SOME WONDERFUL FAMILY MEMBERS.
