Ezekiel one-why?

I challenge you to read Ezekiel 1. What a chapter it is. I will share the first 5 verses to make a point:
1 On July 31 of my thirtieth year, while I was with the Judean exiles beside the Kebar River in Babylon, the heavens were opened to me, and I saw visions of God. 2This happened during the fifth year of King Jehoiachin’s captivity. 3 The LORD gave a message to me, Ezekiel son of Buzi, a priest, there beside the Kebar River in the land of the Babylonians, and I felt the hand of the LORD take hold of me.
4 As I looked, I saw a great storm coming toward me from the north, driving before it a huge cloud that flashed with lightning and shone with brilliant light. The fire inside the cloud glowed like gleaming amber. 5 From the center of the cloud came four living beings that looked human, NLT
I can't wait to share this study- it says so much to us today.
Have a blessed day-PASTOR JOE

HINDERANCES

I am working now on a message on hinderances to Godly living. The list is getting very long, and the Bible has much to say on the subject.
As the sermon developes, I will share thoughts with you.
God bless and have a great one-PASTOR JOE

The Antichrist

I have just completed a series on the antichrist, and we learned so much. I am so glad I am a christian. The powers of evil are real, but I know who wins in the end. Heaven is a real place for us if we know Jesus-John 3: 16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Evil is real, but so is the salvation in Jesus.

Too Much

I am afraid that we have bought in on the trick of the Devil- you are doing too much, so be lazy more.
The weekends are used for pleasure. When is the last time you visited a sick friend. Oh, I am tired or too busy doing for me.
Then we wonder why nobody ever is nice to us-WAKE UP!
Listen to God and not the Devil, and reach out and be a blessing.
It was said of Jesus that He went about doing good, can that be said of us?

Ezekiel Intro

Last night we had 42 for Ezekiel intro. It went well. Lessons shared- God knows what is going on. Some things God doesn't like. Sin will be punished. We can repent; God will forgive and restore. God loves to bless.
More to come-have a great one-PASTOR JOE

Teamwork

One thing I have learned from the games is the importance of teamwork. Each one needs to do their part well-for the team's good. A team cam can help motivate each other, because they are there.
God calls us to be part of the greatest team ever, His team. We are working together for the goal of heaven. We work not to get to heaven, but because we are headed there-glory!
Be a good team member today-PASTOR JOE

What works for you?

Often we need a break, what works for you?
Some run, some nap, some eat. some it's coffee, but what works for you?
The main thing is that you have a break. How long is your break? Does it really help? Does it refresh? Think about it- PASTOR JOE

A TEAM PLAYER

One thing that makes life so much better is to learn that life is a team player's game at best. Very few loners do well. The support and encouragement of fellow team players helps so much. They can help pick you up, and often carry us.
Are we a team player? Think about it- PASTOR JOE

What Could we do if...

I can't help but wonder what could we do if we wanted to? Most people settle for the easy road, and wonder all their life, "What have I missed out on?" I am in an art class and have been for 20 years, and in our class we have a man in his 80's who started 2 years ago, and has become a very good student of art.
What have we dreamed of doing? Give it a try- PASTOR JOE

Joy

My favorite word is Jesus, but my next favorite is Louise, of course, but then comes joy. What is joy? Joy- the best definition I ever read is- Jesus first, others second, and yourself last. That is real joy.
It isn't found in a bottle, a pin box, or in a game. What a world we would have if all its people would try real joy through Jesus.
Think about and even try it today-PASTOR JOE

Good At What?

I have yet to meet someone who was good at everything. What are we good at? Where do we lack? The question are we using what we are good at for God's glory? It is a heavy load to try to be good at all things, but some are better than others.
So let's check up and excell at what we are good at- PASTOR JOE

Remove what?

I noticed a cleaner beside my desk, and it shouted out to me- removes toughest ground-in dirt. Which made me think- strange I know, but stay with me, now.
What do we have in our lives that we need to remove? Is it a bad habit, a food, bad friends? Somethings we are just better off without. Let's all ask God to help us to seek that which needs to be removed, now.
Have a great one-PASTOR JOE

How many friends do we have? How many real good friends do we have?
Tonight we see a friend coming through- what a study.
God bless us with a good day-PASTOR JOE

First things first

We all struggle with what's important. We all need to do the real important things well and first. We can't do all things, and we can't do well some things. We need to find out niche and do it well.
Life is a challenge and often we turn to our friends for help and advice, and if we are blessed, they will be there for us- PASTOR JOE

Gone Home

Betty Grant passed away last night about 7:50 pm. She put up a fight to live, but now she is in heaven, and she has no problems. Please pray for her family as they deal with grief and her service. More to follow ASAP.
Sue Wardlaws's dad Mr. BD Crowe also had a hip operation yesterday, and we need to remember him as we pray. I have just left him, and he is in great pain as expected.
I am very excited about Sunday's services. Sunday morning's message is, "Who is the Antichrist and What does he do?
God bless you and yours- PASTOR JOE
