Serious times
John 12:27 (KJV) Serious times
27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
Jesus was in His last days on earth
This was a serious time'In life's serious time do we get serious?
Jesus talked to the Father
Do we pray in serious times?
Or just at serious times?
Jesus humbled Himself before God- do we?
Jesus realized this was His lot.
Have we surrendered to the will of God- we need to

Now is the time
John 12:20-23 (CSBBible) Now is the time
20 Now some Greeks were among those who went up to worship at the festival.
21 So they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and requested of him, “Sir, we want to see Jesus.”
22 Philip went and told Andrew; then Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus.
23 Jesus replied to them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
Wake up, now
We need to see Jesus
We need to get right with Him, now
We live in serious times, we need to be prepare for eternity
We can be
Is Jesus your savior?

What are we doing?
John 12:17-19 (CSBBible) What are we doing?
17 Meanwhile, the crowd, which had been with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead, continued to testify.
18 This is also why the crowd met him, because they heard he had done this sign.
19 Then the Pharisees said to one another, “You see? You’ve accomplished nothing. Look, the world has gone after him!”
Jesus was and is a doer
He stays busy doing things
Are we a doer?
What are we doing-now?
What do we talk about?
We all can be a person of prayer
How is our prayer life?
What are we getting done?

What are we talking about?

Many saw Jesus raise Lazarus from the dead
they kept talking about it
What has the Lord done for us?
He did get us up this am
He is blessing us even now
Look for chances to tell others about Jesus
At the drug store, gas station, grrocery store, etcc
even on the phone
God blesses us so we can bless others

OUR HOPE
John 12:16 (KJV) OUR HOPE
16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
Jesus was raised from the dead by the power of God=glory
If we have to go by the way of the grave, God will raise us up one day
Some will go to heaven
Some will go to hell
Faith in Jesus will make the difference
We can be ready
Ask Jesus to be your savior
He is our hope-glory

Fear not
John 12:14-15 (KJV) Fear not
14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.
Several things jump out to us:
1. Jesus is Messiah-why?
2. we are not to fear why- Jesus is Lord
3. He completed so may Old Testament prophesies
4. here he fulfills Zech. 9:9
No reason to fear- Jesus is Lord

Praising Jesus
John 12:12-14 (CSBBible) Praising Jesus
12 The next day, when the large crowd that had come to the festival heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 they took palm branches and went out to meet him. They kept shouting: “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord — the King of Israel!”
14 Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, just as it is written:
Let's focus on praising Jesus,, now
He deserves it
We need to do it
Praise the Lord Jesus
Glory to His name
What a wonderful Savior
