John 10:40-42 (CSBBible) The power of words
40 So he departed again across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptizing earlier, and he remained there. 41 Many came to him and said, "John never did a sign, but everything John said about this man was true." 42 And many believed in him there.
What John the baptist and Jesus said was so powerful
People believed in Jesus for what was said-wow
Words can be powerful
Let's be careful how we use them
Do our words help lead people to Jesus?

12 The hired hand, since he is not the shepherd and doesn't own the sheep, leaves them and runs away when he sees a wolf coming. The wolf then snatches and scatters them.
