DOING WHAT WE CAN

1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; 3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. 4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. 5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

THE NEEDED MESSAGE

1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarcha of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene, 2 Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. 3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins; 4 As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; 6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. 7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

WHAT WILL WE PREACH TODAY?
Matthew 3:1-6
3:1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,
6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

IT HURTS
I WOKE UO AFTER MY OPERATION WITH THE NEWS THAT IT WAS NOT A ONE SCREW DEAL.
IT WAS A PLATE AND 5 SCREWS-WOW!!!!
I AM PUT TO BED TO HEAL FOR 5 DAY-DO NOTHING.
THIS IS NOT FUN.
TODAY THE PAIN IS LESS-GLORY.
A SPECIAL THANKS TO MANY OF MY BUDDIES WHO WERE THERE.
AND MANY OTHERS WHO PRAYED-PASTOR JOE

SLOW DOWN SMELL THE ROSES
WHEN ONE BREAKS THEIR ANKLE, QUICKLY THEY LEARN
SLOW DOWN AND SMELL THE ROSES.
YESTERDAY, I TOOK MOTHER AND DAD FOR THEIR DOCTOR'S VISIT.
THEY ARE SLOWLY DOING WORSE.
DEMENTIA IS BAD.
DAD REPEATED HIMSELF 50 TIMES OR MORE.
MOTHER IS SO QUIET.
I LOVE THEM SO.
I AM TRYING TO TAKE IT EASY AS I CAN.
THIS ISN'T FUN.
GOD'S GRACE IS PROMISED.
SO TODAY ENJOY WHAT YOU CAN.

Jesus is coming soon
Malachi 3:1-3
3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

The stage is set for the soon coming of Jesus the Messiah.
Are you ready.
It could be today.
What a change is soon.
If He comes today, where will you be tomorrow?
