WHO DO WE CARE ABOUT?
Col. 2:1-2
For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; [2] That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
WHY ARE WE IN SUCH A MESS?
THE ANSWER MAY WELL BE AS SIMPLE AS WHO DO WE CARE ABOUT?
WE HAVE BECOME SO SELFISH AND SELF CENTERED.
FEW HAVE GIVEN TO HELP IN HAITI-WHY?
WE DON'T CARE ABOUT BUT A FEW.
JESUS DESIRED THAT WE REACH OUT TO OTHERS-DO WE?
OUR LOVE ARENA IS TOO NARROW.
THEN COMES THE PROBLEM.
WE NEED JESUS AS OUR SAVOR AND WE NEED TO LOVE OTHERS.

If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, [2] Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
If we are like Jesus, then we will be as one.

ALIVE AND READY

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Jesus makes us alive when we believe upon Him.
Without faith in Jesus we would be dead in our sins.
We all are sinners, but Jesus makes believers saved sinners.

Needed-the truth
Galatians 2:1-2
Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also. [2] And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
Paul had to prove himself to the leaders of the church at Jerusalem.
His message was the real thing.
Today the real message needs to be shared.
It needs to be heard.
It needs to be lived.

ONENESS

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. [2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. [3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. [4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
The early christians could be as one.
Why can't we?
What is our problem?
Who do we love?
Do we really love God, or do we use God when we want to?
They were blessed because of their oneness.
What if we were one in Christ?

[5] His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

PRAY FOR FRANK
I HAVE A FRIEND THAT WILL BE HAVING A CANCER OPERATION TODAY. PLEASE PRAY THAT IT WILL GO WELL.

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. [2] (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) [3] And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. [4] And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) [5] To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
LET'S TAKE SOME POINTS OF INTEREST FROM THIS PASSAGE:
1. OUR GOVERNMENT DOES AFFECT US.
2. WE NEED TO PRAY FOR OUR GOVERNMENT.

After a few days, Jesus returned to Capernaum, and word got around that he was back home. [2] A crowd gathered, jamming the entrance so no one could get in or out. He was teaching the Word. [3] They brought a paraplegic to him, carried by four men. THE MESSAGE BIBLE
Jesus drew a crowd.
Why?
He loved people, and He helped them.
Who do we love?
Who do we help? Really...
People flocked to Jesus.
How do people treat us?

Now the days of David drew nigh that he should die; and he charged Solomon his son, saying, [2] I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man; [3] And keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself: [4] That the Lord may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.

WHO IS JESUS?
Matthew 2:1-2
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, [2] Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
Allow me to ask a question,please.
Who is Jesus?
Another question,please.
Who is Jesus to you?
Your answer is eternally important.
Is He your Savior,Lord, helper, and friend?
He could be-enjoy Jesus.

WAKE UP

And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. [2] If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
God was upset with His priest and His people because they did not give Him glory.
Do we worship the Lord?
Do we praise Him?
Do we honor Him?
Are we trying to forget Him?
Wake up-God is watching...
He desires to be our best friend and God-WOW!!!-PASTOR JOE

I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. [2] Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof. [3] And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,
Like it or not.
Believe it or not.
God keeps close tabs on us.
How do we measure up?
God cares about us.
He is interested in us.
We answer to Him-soon.

IS GOD'S HOUSE IMPORTANT?
Haggai 2:1-4
In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the Lord by the prophet Haggai, saying, [2] Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying, [3] Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing? [4] Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts:
Haggai the prophet had to wake the people up.
They had turned selfish.
They had forgotten God
They had forgotten God's house.
God was ready to turn against them.
IT DOES MATTER HOW WE TREAT GOD.......
