Study- to many it is a dirty word. To some like me,it is one of life's great blessings. I enjoy studying, and then I enjoy sharing what I have learned.
Advice- study, and never stop learning. Read, and read all you can about everything you can. Be careful what you read, but read daily.

God is good-all of the time. Had a spirit of worship at church yesterday-God blessed. Enjoyed every part of the worship-morning and night-wow!

What are you looking forward to? A very important question. Does your weekend include church? Is it a top priority? One day soon we will wish it had been. I wish that we would get back to the ways of the Bible-loving, being kind,praying, caring,etc.

Jesse has left the building, and what a blessing he was and is. Three saved, and so many blessed by his spirit and messages. Which brings us to two questions:
Are we a blessing? What kind of spirit do we have?
Ponder these questions, and let's do better for the glory of God with His help.

God loves to bless with good singing and good preaching and people being saved-wow! Last night Caleb asked Jesus to be his saviour-wow! Tonight promises to be the best yet-Lord bless for your glory and honor.

Revival services are going on, and God is blessing- one saved so far, and good attentance. Last night we had 78 and destroyed 100 pieces of chicken. Jesse is such a blessing to be around, and does he preach the Word. With a great choir, wonderful specials and a preacher that can preach-come and be blessed.

Is revival coming? The answer is yes to those who desire it-wow! A great man of God is coming, God is wanting to bless, and the Spirit is willing and able. Services are set, but who will show up? Who wants to be blessed?

It is amazing what progress can accomplish. I am doing this blog without touching the keyboard, it is amazing. There are many things in this world that are amazing, and God has given us some very precious gifts -- including each other.

I hope that you are a person of great courage, and are willing to try new things. This world is an amazing place if we are willing to expand our boundaries. Take for example, the computer.

Last night, we had a great time of Bible study in Ezekiel 29 to 31, and we learned that God cares about everyone everywhere. We also learn that God desires that we know he him more than anything else in the whole wide world and beyond.


Please do not forget that revival services start Sunday morning at 10, and we will also worship together at 6 PM Sunday night. Monday,, Tuesday, and Wednesday we will have services at 7 PM.

Lord, help us today to keep our eyes open and our minds open that we will hear you as you speak to us --PASTOR JOE

About 6 last night we were told that Sam was fine-he had 4 by-passes. Dr. Davis and the Lord blessed Sam, and he should do well-thanks Lord. It was a long day and we had about 16 or so there. We are blessed with a fine family, and we are pretty close.
Like most families were love to kid and go on with each other, but we are there for each other for sure.
Tonight we will study Ezekiel 29-31, and it has some needed lessons for us. Pray for our Awanas and youth-PASTOR JOE

Today one of my brothers in law Sam will have a 4 by-pass operation at 12:30 in Greenville-please pray for him and several others that need the Master's touch-thanks-PASTOR JOE

What a day of wonderful worship we had yesterday-praise be to God. The Lord blessed as the choir started, as songs were sung, as solos were delivered- as the Word was preached-WOW! It was so good to be there.
Then, last night it kept on-the blessings flowed-thank you Lord. We even gave Monica her Bible and the right hand of christian fellowship. I just don't see how someone can not come and be blessed-don't miss out.
Revival services start Sunday morning at 11, 6 Pm, and Monday-Wednesday at 7. God wants to bless-don't dare miss it.

Am I being nosey, or do I really care? Some do and some don't. But seriously we control much of our things by what we are thinking about and how we are thinking about it. Also important, too is the role we allow God to play in our thinking process.
Remember Philillipians 4: 8. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

I have in my hand the hardback copy of my book Simple Christianity-praise the Lord.
It is the final proof before the book is printed. I will proof the book hopefully today and send it back for their approvial, and then it will be printed.
The book looks at What is a christian, and what do they believe?
I am asking the Lord to bless it and use it to help many people for His glory.
You pray for the book, and its use.
Hopefully in 3 to 4 months it will be on the market.

I am being blessed as God shares with us from our study of Ezekiel. Do you enjoy studying the Bible-satan doesn't-so there.
Tonight we are in chapters 26-28, and we can learn so much from them.
The main point to me is that God cares about everything and everyone even 2,500 years ago-God cared about all of His creation.
He knew them well, and He desired for them to be right.
God cares about us-yes us.
God expects much from us.
To not do God right will cause bad things to happen.

God is great and can do all things well, yet He desires to use us-wow! Haggai 1:7-8 7. Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.
8. Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.
God wanted to use them to do a great work. Would they? Did they? Will we?
Lord, you know what is going on and what needs to happen, so help us to let You use us to bless in this rough hour-PASTOR JOE

Like never before families do need prayer. There are so many hurting, and the sad part is many don't understand the role they play in causing their problems. I am not saying all problems we bring on ourselves, but in many cases it is our fault.
Our study in Haggai last night revealed that God punishes sin. Sin is what God says is sin, and we suffer for our sinful choices. We also learned sins can be forgiven-glory. Jesus made it possible for our sins to be taken care of.
Let's pray for our family.
Let's pray for other familes we know that need our prayers.
Let's pray for all families.

To be happy now, one must be happy in tuff times. God has provided steps for us to take to be happy right now. What are they-please tell me.

What is on your mind, assuming we use ours, of course. Blogging is fun and challenging.
What is on my mind- I am concerned about the way of the world. Jesus is being ignored everywhere. I am in a detailed study of Ezekiel and it is scary when we learn God takes things personally. God has emotions and feelings. And He has limits with His patience with us. Judgment is coming. God has desires and plans for us, and He wants us to do well. We have proven to be greedy and pleasure lovers, and selfish-wake up.

What brings you great joy? One thing that rings my bell is worship of the Lord. I love to get into His word and hear Him talk and challenge me and others. So I need the Wednesday night refill through gathered Bible study-it blesses me.Tonight we study Ezekiel 23-25 wonderful stuff-what a blessing. I can't wait to share it.

The snow and ice stopped the internet. Now it is back on. Are we on for the Lord? Are we on full time for the Lord. Are we sending the message through as best we can? Are others blessed by us?

It has snowed in the sunny south. We got snow. We did have Sunday morning worship service and baptism. So proud of our choir and Tonya, and Monica who was the one baptized OUR CHURCH VOTED 100% FOR RACHEL TO BE OUR PIANIST. I preached on how to be happy now. Step one- get right with God. Then and only then can you be ready for the other steps.
