Blessed again
3 days of deep wonderful Bible study-wow! What a blessing to sit at the feet of some great men of God-humble and blessed were they-wow!!! I thank God for the experience, and now the application comes. That is part 2 of the blessing.
Lord you are great-I need you, and I rejoice in who You are, help me to be what You want me to be and bless all of us to not be less than our best for You because of the way we relate to You. For it is about You in us-the hope of glory-PASTOR JOE

Study
OK I will. For the next 3 days I shall be studying THE CHRIST LIFE with about 20 preacher friends-it should be great-pray for me as I study and learn and apply.
I trust you will have a great one, God is good-we had a great time of worship yesterday.
Most of the sick are some better-Dan may get to come home today.

DAN OK
I am so glad to say Dan is ok-thank you Lord. Now, my buddy Travis' brother is having a serious operation-today At St. Francis. There is always something going on.
Dan will have to make some serious decisions about his health-pray for him and Sue.
Lib is not doing well-pray for her.
A very busy day-pray for me-get ready for the weekend. A bunch of my friends are 4 wheeling-they need our prayers,too.
Excited about Sunday mornings sermon on The sign of Jesus' soon coming again.
Be careful-PASTOR JOE

Exciting Bible Study
1 Samuel: 4- is a wonderful story of a sad time in the history of God's people:
1. They had a messed up old, fat leader. He was a failure as a father.
2. They had a messed up religion- there is magic in the ark.
3. They were prayerless.
4. They lost the battle and the ark, and their leader, and his wicked sons.
WHAT WILL GOD DO TO HELP THEM?
MY BUDDY DAN WILL HAVE A HEART CATHE AFTER LUNCH-PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM AND SUE-PASTOR JOE

BLESSED
I am so blessed to have such great friends around me. One of dearest friend is now in Anderson Hospital having test run-please pray for Dan Wardlaw.
John Neely is coming home today-he has done so well-glory.
Pat Dyar's operation is delayed due to her cold.
Katherine Riggins operation is delay 6 weeks to await further tests.
But, tonight is bible study time, and we are in 1 Sameul 4- "Reacting to bad news." It should be a wonderful study-don't miss it-PASTOR JOE

WHAT ARE THE SIGNS OF JESUS' COMING
THIS SUNDAY MORNING I SHALL PREACH THE GOOD LORD WILLING ON THE SIGNS OF JESUS COMING AGAIN. THERE ARE MANY, AND I SHALL TRY TO PUT THIS SERMON ON THE WEBSITE ASAP AFTER SUNDAY.
YESTERDAY I LEFT AT 4:30 AM TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL TO BE WITH A FRIEND-JOHNNY NEELY AS HE HAD SERIOUS EYE OPERATION-HE HAD A TUMOR BEHIND HIS EYE-THE OPERATION TOOK ABOUT 3 HOURS, BUT ALL IS WELL SO SAYS THE DOCTOR-GLORY!!!
ANOTHER FRIEND HAD A CANCER OPERATION LIB OWENS- SHE ALSO DID WELL-TEST RESULTS THURSDAY.
PRAY FOR BOTH OF THEM.
MY FRIEND PAT DYAR'S KNEE OPERATION HAD TO BE RESCHEDULED-PRAY FOR HER, TOO.
ANOTHER FRIEND GAIL DOBSON ALSO NEEDS OUR PRAYERS AS SHE RECOVERS FROM PROBLEMS WITH DRUG REACTIONS. SHE TOO IS IN THE HOSPITAL.

WHAT IS THE BIBLE?
I do believe that is a good question, and it is worthy of a good answer. Sunday morning I will preach on that subject and seek to answer some very important questions that have eternal consequences. Next week I will get that on the church wesite, too.

FROM THE SUNNY SOUTH
IT IS A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN THE SOUTH, but is snow covered all but the roads in spots. We are blessed with a beautiful scene, but so far not much ice-thank you Lord.
My buddy Joe did well through his operation- he will be in pain for sometime, but should do well. Monday a friend John Neely will have an operation behind his eye-he has a tumor there-pray for him and Ruth.
Later I may add a picture of the sunny south.

A SERMON IS DELIVERED
Every once in a while the Lord challenges a preacher with a tough sermon to deliver- The Sunday morning sermon was such a one-A SERMON THE DEVIL DOESN'T WANT YOU TO HEAR. I preached it, but now comes the harder part-what will we do because of it?

Myra needs your prayers
I have a friend I used to go to church with-Myra Porter from Pickens-she has had a massive stroke and is not doing well-she needs your prayer. The biker Dean also needs your prayers as today operation #2 on his foot. Terri is to come home today, if all is well.
Worshipped last night at a revival-wow did we have worship-what a blessing-pray for Robin Ellison-preacher Bill's wife-she is having a tuff time.

The Dangers of Motorcycles
Last night one of my church members was ridng a motorcycle and someone ran a light and hit them. Her friend was badly injured and she broke her leg and had a 2 hour operation.
I know life is dangerous, but the motor cycle is hard to see and offers little support.
What am I saying, please be careful-don't ride a bike-I hate to lose friends-PASTOR JOE
