Shannon will have a hole in her heart covered over today- wow! Please pray for her and her family as she undergoes this at Greenville Mem. Hosp.
Thanks for your prayers for the Pierce family as 200 gathered for the service yesterday. Bagpipes were at the graveside-wow!!! 2 talented ladies sang and played at the funeral- what a blessing. God spoke to us all at the service.
Continue to pray for my parents as they adjust to live at Countryside.
Verse for today- Prov. 31:10. Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.

WE HAD A WONDERFUL DAY OF WORSHIP YESTERDAY. WE HAD A GOOD SUNDAY SCHOOL MEETING-GOOD SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS-WONDERFUL AM WORSHIP WITH SOME SPECIAL GUESTS THERE. LAST NIGHT WAS A BLAST AS WE HAD THE ADULT CHOIRS FROM PENDLETON FIRST DO A GOSPEL CANTATA- WITH 2 OF OURS DOING VERY SPECIAL SPECIALS, THEN FINGER FOOD FELLOWSHIP AFTER FOR PASTOR AND WIFE APPRECIATION WITH 120 PRESENT-WHAT A DAY.
ADDED WAS A TIME WITH A GOOD OLD FRIEND WHOSE WIFE PASSED AWAY, AND TODAY AT 2 I SHALL PREACH MILDRED PIERCE'S FUNERAL- WHAT A CLASS ACTS SHE WAS. PRAY FOR HER FAMILY, AND ME.

PSALM 37: 12. The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth.
13. The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming.
14. The wicked have drawn the sword And have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay those who are of upright conduct.
15. Their sword shall enter their own heart, And their bows shall be broken.
THOSE WHO DON'T DO GOD'S WILL ARE THE WICKED. THEY FOLLOW SATAN AND BECOME VIOLENT. THEY PLAN EVIL ACTS- BUT GOD KNOWS WHAT IS GOING ON. IN THE END THEY WILL ONLY HURT THEMSELVES. GLORY!!!!!

I make suggestions often to try to help you and me. Lately I have been preaching from Psalm 37- note with me these verses:

16. A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked.
17. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the Lord upholds the righteous.
18. The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever.
19. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
20. But the wicked shall perish; And the enemies of the Lord, Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away.

I LOVE WEDNESDAY. IT'S CHURCH NIGHT-GLORY. I LOVE AWANAS FOR THE CHILDREN. I LOVE OUR YOUTH BIBLE STUDY. I LOVE THE TIME OF ADULT BIBLE STUDY- WE ARE NOW FINISHING UP THE END OF CHAPTER 4 OF 1 JOHN- HOW TO GROW IN LOVE...WHAT A STUDY. HOPE TO SEE YOU AT CHURCH.
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY. CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR ALL THE SPECIAL NEEDS AND THE LOST. THE NEXT FEW DAYS ARE VERY IMPORTANT IN THE LIVES OF MY PARENTS-PLEASE REMEMBER THEM.

I am in a great Sunday School class, and tonight we have a supper party. I get to be with some good friends and eat,too-wow!!! You can't beat that.
You need to realize christians can have fun. It is great to be saved, and have "good" friends...

Today a friend has operation- 9:30. Please pray for Polly Poore. I have Doctor's appt. 8:20. 3 hair cut- I need badly. & 7 tonight my sister Cheryl sings at the Revival at Six Mile Church. In between work on a sermon for next Sunday.

GOD SHOWS HIS LOVE FOR US- LOVE ALWAYS SHOWS-YES IT DOES...
GOD SENT HIS ONE AND ONLY SON JESUS INTO THE WORLD-WHY?
SO THAT WE MIGHT LIVE NOW AND FOREVER THROUGH JESUS.
THE HOPE OF LIVE NOW AND FOREVER IS JESUS.
DO YOU KNOW HIM AS YOUR SAVIOUR? WHY NOT?

1 JOHN 4: 5. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.
WE TALK LIKE OUR DADDY. DO WE TALK LIKE GOD OR THE DEVIL? WHAT INTERESTS US- THE WORLD OR THE THINGS OF GOD? HOW OFTEN DO WE DISCUSS BIBICAL SUBJECTS? DO WE CARE ABOUT BIBILICAL STUFF?
THE LOST HEADED TO HELL TALK ABOUT THINGS THAT REALLY DON'T MATTER. 2 MINUTES IN HELL WHO WILL CARE WHO WON THE WORLD SERIES. THINK ABOUT IT-PASTOR JOE

1 JOHN 4: 4. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
WE LEARN SEVERAL VERY IMPORTANT TRUTHS FROM THIS VERSE:
1. WE CAN HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.
2. WE ARE AS LITTLE CHILDREN BEFORE GOD-HIS CHILDREN-GLORY!!!
3. WE CAN OVERCOME FALSEHOOD AND WRONG.
4. WE LEARN WHY- GOD IS GREATER THAN SATAN-GLORY!!!!

1 JOHN 4: 3. and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
THE BIBLE TEACHES US HOW TO KNOW-RIGHT FROM WRONG- WHAT DO THEY SAY ABOUT JESUS' RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD?
IF ONE TEACHES JESUS IS GOD'S SON, THEN LISTEN TO THEM- IF NOT REALIZE THEY ARE WRONG.
THE DEVIL IS REAL. FALSE TEACHERS ARE REAL.
BUT PRAISE GOD SOME TO TEACH THE REAL JESUS.
THINK ABOUT THIS TEACHING-PASTOR JOE

IT IS TEST TIME. 1 JOHN 4: 1. Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
WHAT SHOULD WE BELIEVE? GREAT QUESTION, AND YOU BET YOU SOUL ON YOUR ANSWER.
THERE IS WRONG. WHAT IS WRONG? ANOTHER GREAT QUESTION. SOME TEACH THE WRONG THINGS. SAD BUT TRUE. SO WHAT IS THE ACID TEST? HOW CAN WE KNOW RIGHT?
1 JOHN 4: 2. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,
THE ANSWER IS WHAT DO THEY BELIEVE ABOUT JESUS? THINK ABOUT THIS TEACHING- MORE TO COME-PASTOR JOE

Read with me 1John 3: 24. Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
ARE WE CLOSE TO THE LORD? WHY NOT? DO WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS? THESE ARE ORDERS FROM A LOVING CARING GOD- TO HELP US.
HAS THE LORD GIVEN US HIS SPIRIT? WHAT KIND OF ATTITUDE DO WE HAVE?
THINK ON THESE MATTERS AND DO WELL-PASTOR JOE

GREAT QUESTION-GOD WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME? THE ANSWER IS FOUND IN 1 JOHN 3: 23. And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE-
1. BELIEVE ON JESUS
2. LOVE EACH OTHER.

WHY DO WE TRY TO MAKE IT SO COMPLICATED? STUDY OVER THIS VERSE AND DO WHAT IT SAYS- IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE NOW AND FOREVER-PASTOR JOE

YES IT IS OUT- HOW TO GET OUR PRAYER ANSWERED. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION-THERE ARE NO SHORT CUTS. 1 JOHN 3: 22. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
TO HEAR GOD'S YES WE MUST:
1. KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS----
WE MUST DO THOSE THINGS THAT PLEASE HIM.
NO WONDER SO MANY PRAYERS GET A NO.
LET THIS TEACHING SINK IN TODAY.....PASTOR JOE
