WHO DO WE LOVE? WHO DO WE PROVE WE LOVE? IF ANYONE?

1 JOHN 3: 13. Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you.
14. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.
DO WE TRY TO PLEASE OTHERS OR GOD? IF WE STAND FOR GOD THE WORLD WILL NOT LIKE US.
DO WE LOVE OTHER SAVED PEOPLE? IF NOT WE PROBABLY ARE NOT SAVED. HOW CAN WE NOT LOVE THOSE WHO GOD LOVES?
THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS SERIOUSLY-PASTOR JOE

TODAY IS MY MOTHER'S 82 BIRTHDAY. WOW!

WHAT ARE WE DOING TO BECOME A BETTER CHRISTIAN? 1 JOHN 3: 11. For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,
12. not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous.
IF WE DESIRE TO BE A BETTER CHRISTIAN WE MUST LEARN:
1. TO LISTEN- TO THE RIGHT THINGS, LIKE THE BIBLE AND GOOD BIBICAL PREACHING.
2. TO STAY THE COURSE- STICK WITH THE LORD AND THE CHRISTIAN WAY OF LIFE.
3. TO REALLY LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
4. TO NOT BE JEALOUS.
THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS TODAY, AND CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR MY FAMILY-PASTOR JOE

Today a long term decision will be made about my parents care-please pray for Mother and Dad, Les, the Dr involved, me and my brothers and sister.
We desire God's will be done- please pray seriously.

HOW CAN WE DO BETTER?
1 JOHN 3: 8. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
9. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
10. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.
HOW GOOD ARE WE AT SINNING? AS CHRISTIANS WE ARE TO GO OUT OF THE SINNING BUSINESS-WHY? SIN ISN'T FUN FOR CHRISTIANS. WHY NOT? WE GRIEVE THE HEART OF GOD. WE CAUSE HIM TO PUNISH US. WE ARE ACTING LIKE THE DEVIL.
ARE WE LIVING RIGHT, OR FOR THE DEVIL?
IS GOD PLEASED WITH THE WAY WE LIVE?
FATHER, RIGHT NOW I ASK YOU TO FORGIVE MY SINS, AND HELP ME LORD TODAY AND EVERY DAY TO PLEASE AND HONOR YOU. PASTOR JOE
DO YOU NEED TO PRAY THIS PRAYER, TOO?

HOW TO BE A BETTER CHRISTIAN. 1 JOHN 3: 1. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
1. REALIZE THAT WE ARE LOVED
2. REALIZE WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD
3. REALIZE THE LOST DON'T KNOW NOR UNDERSTAND US
2. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
4. REALIZE WE ARE NOW THE CHILDREN OF GOD
5. ONE DAY WE WILL BE LIKE JESUS
6. ONE DAY WE SHALL SEE JESUS
3. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
7. WE HAVE HOPE
8. WE NEED TO CLEAN UP OUR LIVES
4. Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
5. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.
9. JESUS HAS TAKEN AWAY OUR SINS
6. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
10- WE CAN STAY CLOSE TO JESUS
11. WE CAN LIVE GOOD IF WE STAY CLOSE TO JESUS
7. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.
12. WE NEED TO GROW IN THE LORD
13. WE NEED TO LIVE RIGHT IN GOD'S SIGHT. PASTOR JOE

Tonight I will start God willing a study of 1 John 3- the subject is HOW TO BE A BETTER CHRISTIAN. Allow me now to share a portion of this chapter and you pick out ways to be a better christian. I will follolw up tomorrow. PASTOR JOE
1 JOHN 3:
1. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

JESUS IS COMING AGAIN-ARE WE READY? 1 JOHN 2: 28. And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
WE NEED TO STAY CLOSE TO THE LORD.
JESUS IS COMING BACK TO EARTH.
WE CAN BE READY. HOW READY ARE WE?
THINK ABOUT IT, AND WHO YOU NEED TO TELL ABOUT IT.

ARE WE FOR REAL? 1 JOHN 2: 19. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.
SOME LEAVE-SOME QUIT- WHY? IS IT GOD'S WILL, OR WORSHIP OF SELF? IF PEOPLE ARE RIGHT WITH GOD YOU CAN'T KEEP THEM AWAY.

BIG QUESTION- FOR SURE. THE BIBLE SAYS IN 1 JOHN 2: 22. Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
CLEAR SIMPLE TEACHING.
1. IF WE SAY JESUS ISN'T THE SAVIOUR-WE ARE A LIAR.
2. WE ARE AGAINST JESUS- AN ANTICHRIST.
WHO IS JESUS TO YOU. REMEMBER YOU BET YOUR SOUL ON THE ANSWER.

THE DEVIL IS REAL, AND VERY BUSY EVEN IN THE CHURCH.
SOME QUIT, SATAN LAUGHS.
WHY DO THEY QUIT-JOHN TEACHES US THAT THEY QUIT BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT SAVED.
SO MANY BOUNCE FROM CHURCH TO CHURCH- SEEKING ONE THAT WILL WORSHIP THEM-HOW SAD. JOHN SAYS THAT THEY ARE LOST.
DO WE LOVE JESUS OR SELF. ARE WE SAVED? DO WE LOVE THE CHURCH?

1 JOHN 2: 18. Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.
HEAR THE WARNINGS:
1. WE NEED TO BE SAVED-ARE WE A CHILD OF GOD?
2. WE ARE IN THE LAST HOUR-HEAVEN OR HELL SOON AWAITS US.
3. MANY ARE FALSE TEACHERS. SOME MANY ARE CONFUSED. WHY? THEY GET AWAY FROM GOD'S WORD-THE BIBLE.
YOU ARE WARNED-SHARE TODAY THE JOY OF YOUR SALVATION, OR TRUST JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOUR-NOW. PASTOR JOE

YESTERDAY A PRECIOUS LADY HAD A VERY SERIOUS OPERATION ON THE MAIN ARTERY FROM HER HEART, AND SHE DID WELL-LOUISE MARTIN. CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR HER AS HER RECOVERY WILL TAKE A WHILE.
ALSO HAD A BIG MEETING ABOUT MY PARENTS CARE. SO MANY CARE SO DEEPLY. THAT GOD THEY ARE IN SUCH A NICE PLACE. CONTINUE TO REMEMBER THEM AND US THE CAREGIVERS-THANKS.
1 JOHN 2: 17. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. THIS VERSE TEACHES US MANY THINGS:
1. LIFE PASSES FAST.
2. THINGS AREN'T THAT IMPORTANT.
3. WE CAN DO THE WILL OF GOD- WHAT IS HIS WILL JOHN 3: 16. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. THAT IS GOD'S WILL FOR ALL.
4. IF WE TRUST JESUS AS OUR SAVIOUR, THEN WE SHALL LIVE FOREVER-GLORY.
THINK ABOUT IT-PASTOR JOE

THE LORD HAS PUT IT STRONG ON MY HEART TO CHALLENGE US- TO REACH OUT AND BE A BLESSING TO AT LEAST 2 PEOPLE TODAY. WE WILL SENSE THE NEED 2 WILL HAVE TO BE BLESSED-DO IT LET GOD USE US TO BLESS OTHERS WHO REALLY NEED IT TODAY.

LISTEN TO 1 JOHN 2: 16. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
WHAT MOTIVATES US? IS IT- EMOTIONS LIKE LUST, THE DESIRE FOR STUFF, OR I WANT-I WILL GET, OR IS IT OUR LOVE FOR GOD?
AGAIN I ASK THIS VERY VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION- WHAT MOTIVATES US????

1 JOHN 2: 15. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
WE TRY SO HARD TO IGNORE THIS. WE TRY A MIX OF LOVING GOD AND STUFF, BUT THE TRUTH IS THE THRUTH. WE CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.
DO WE LOVE STUFF? DO WE LOVE GOD?
WE MAY ANSWER SOME, BUT GOD SAYS IT IS ALL OR NONE AT ALL. NOW WE KNOW WHAT IS WRONG!!!!!!
THINK ABOUT THE TRUTHS OF THIS VERSE-PASTOR JOE

1 JOHN 2:14B- I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
ARE WE STRONG? WHY NOT? PAY ATTENTION.... THESE YOUNG MEN STAYED IN THE WORD OF GOD, AND THEY WON OVER THE DEVIL.
IS THE DEVIL GIVING YOU FITS? DO WE STAY IN THE WORD OF GOD? DO WE KNOW OUR BIBLES?
READ 3-5 CHAPTERS EVERY DAY-DO IT-IT WILL HELP YOU DEFEAT THE DEVIL-PASTOR JOE

Listen to 1 John 2: 12. I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
Several precious truths are taught here:
1. We can be God's children- we can be saved-glory!!!
2.We can lead others to Jesus-that is why we are here...
3. Through Jesus we can have our sins forgiven-glory!!!! But understand our sins are forgiven only through Jesus-for His name sake.
Trust Jesus-have our sins forgiven-lead others to Jesus-WHAT A LIFE.
