LET'S PRAY FOR EACH OTHER
As a pastor often people forget I have family, and yesterday my brother called and I rushed him to the ER and soon after he had a serious operation. We never know what a day may bring, but one thing we do know every day we need to pray for each other- even the preacher and his family. YES I TOO AM HUMAN- EVEN PASTOR JOE.... He should recover but is facing maybe 2 more operations- more as it progresses...

Old Friends
Yesterday I ran into 2 old friends-I don't mean they are old, but I have known them for years. It was so good to see them. Time slipped away as we shared memories and pray requests, and as if we had not been apart so long. Do you have some old friends-you need them more than you may realize. Think about it. WHO IS THE BOSS?
Role problems. Yes, we often get confused. God is the Lord-the boss. We are the servants. Yes His servants... He tells us what to do. We do as He says. HELLO ...are we listening? 1. Talk with others about your problem.

I know that this is a day set aside for worship. The question is who will we worship today? We do have a choice- 1. God 2. Satan. My Hero
Jesus is my hero, my example. There can never be a better one. He was a master teacher. I strive to learn from Him. Are you? Lord help me to help others
In the busy life of a pastor, often you feel so weak to help well. Then the Lord kicks in if you want Him to. Yesterday was so hard to hear one you care about being sentenced to jail, then later to help tell her mother. Proud of the family for sticking together. Many prayers with them and for them. I was there, but so was God. We are to love and encourge others-who can you encourage today? Pastor Joe

Going to court
I spent most of the day in court with a family. Court? Yes, General Sessions? Big court. Serious- yes. Probably will spend most of the day there tomorrow. Pray for that family involved-God knows them. There is never a dull moment-never. Pray for others-they need it. Pastor Joe

A day of study

Reach Out
Today could be the great day yet in our lives, if we learn the art of reaching out. Today I will go to art class, even though I have been there over 18 years, I still remember the first night-what am I doing in here with these great artist?
