A PLEASANT SAT. MORNING
It is so nice outside-thanks Lord. What will we do today? Will we honor the Lord, or make Satan happy? The choice is ours- so get going and make a good choice for a good day. Friday
I try to take Fridays off if and when I can- but not today-yet.
Up early and went to 2 hospitals trying to find a church member who was having back operation- never found her- they are to call me later. To court house 20 miles away- court postponed. Did catch parents home- Mother sick in bed- Dad at groceries store. Brother Paul recovering, and ready to talk-good. Louise sick with bad tooth ache- can one have a good tooth ache? I doubt it. Now- blog time- think I will read some and relax- PASTOR JOE

Revival services are over
Yes, the revival services are over, but the good news is- the revival can go on. God loves to bless and forgive- that will be the topic of this Sunday am message- THE DANGER OF NOT FORGIVING. I ask where have all the saints gone? We are in revival this week-through Wed. And tonight we had a hand full only- what a sad day- we have a great choir, great singers, even a great preacher with us. The Lord wants to bless...but where are the saints? AT REFUGE CHURCH WE have Bible study AND PRAYER for adults- we are now in Ephesians 4 and will finish that chapter tonight-the Lord willing. The topic-Steps to being a better person... wow! Almost 2000 years ago was a day like no other-Jesus was in the tomb all day. Was He real? Was He who He said He was? Would He rise again? Would He change the eternal destiny of souls forever? Would easter happen? Did it? Great questions- even greater answers lay ahead. Think about it- WHO IS JESUS?

A Better us-Biblical thoughts
Ephesians 4:17-26 17. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
1. Don't be confused-know what you believe and why. The world will try and confuse us if we let it.
18. Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
2. Don't be in the dark with the Devil and his crowd. Study the Bible and know the light of God's good word.
3. Don't be ignorant. We live in an age of info. KNow what we need to know-especially from the Bible.
19. Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
4. Don't be controlled by lust for things. The Devil likes that. Things are not more important than people...
5. Don't be greedy. Is money what you are about. If all you have is money-you don't have much.
20. But ye have not so learned Christ;
6. learn all you can about the Jesus of the gospels and the Bible- the real Jesus.
21. If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
7. Learn the truth- Jesus is the truth. Make it a goal to learn all the Bible you can.
22. That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
8. Don't get stuck in the past- Jesus is alive now, here in the real world. Live for the Lord and enjoy the present blessings.
23. And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
9. Be renewed in our minds- we need to make some big changes there-yes, us... How do we do that? That is tomorrows blog.
24. And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

HOW TO HAVE A BETTER WORLD

15. but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head Christ"

WHAT SHALL WE DO?
Last night I was allowed to go to the Meeting of the Ladies of the Church-WOMEN ON MISSION. I am blessed to pastor some wonderful people. We met on a house boat, had great sandwiches, and fellowship.
Are we using our time wisely? Do we have time to do the important things like met with friends and pray and great things for the glory of God?

THIS RANG MY BELL
I HAD TO SHARE THIS-THINK ABOUT IT- Judge NOT.....
I was shocked, confused, bewildered
as I entered Heaven's door,
Not by the beauty of it all,
by the lights of its decor.
But it was the folks in Heaven
who made me sputter and gasp--
the thieves, the liars, the sinners,
the alcoholics, the trash.
There stood the kid from seventh grade
who swiped my lunch money twice.
Next to him was my old neighbor
who never said anything nice.
Herb, who I always thought
was rotting away in hell,
was sitting pretty on cloud nine,
looking incredibly well.
I nudged Jesus, "What's the deal?
I would love to hear Your take.
How'd all these sinners get up here?
God must've made a mistake.
And why's everyone so quiet,
so somber? Give me a clue."
"Hush, child," said He. " They're all in shock.
No one thought they'd see you!"

GOD IS ABLE
